Budget flight sim

i am planing to buy a flight sim system for my pc, but dont realy know what im looking for, iv played flight sims on the PS2 and love them however, i need some help in deciding what peripherals and games i should buy for my pc. i dont want to spen to mush on it so, my budget is aroud £100 ($180). also any input into making my flight sim sysrem feel more realistic is welcome, thanks in advance!

After using it you can decide what you need to give you a more rewarding experience.

One item that comes to mind is that you need a sharp monitor of good quality.
 
Saitek has a very nice rudder/joystick combo, and you can find it pretty cheap used.

Although for things like keyboards/mice/game controllers I recommend you find something in a store you can touch/use to see how they fit and feel. I like a firmer feed-back, some like ligher springs, your hands may not fit a smaller controller, etc...

You can also get last year or year before flight sim games for very cheap, once again, check the used market. MS Flight Sim is good.
