Budget gaming build

Budget range: Trying to keep the cost as low as possible. This build costs about 675 dollars, and that is really the max I can spend right now. Final prices need to be BEFORE rebates. I've had absolutely terrible experiences with them in the past.

System usage: Gaming, recording with fraps, and rendering, possibly all at once, lots of multitasking

Buying OS: Yes

Preferred website: Newegg only. I will be ordering the cpu from Tigerdirect though, because Newegg doesn't have the cpu I want in stock.

Location: US

Overclocking: probably 0.2-0.3 ghz on the cpu stock cooler, but not much. No more at this point. I'm on a tight budget and I can't afford 30 bucks for decent air cooling.

Since you are pretty much already at your budget, Intel really isn't much of a choice right now, unless you want a Pentium.

I think your build could be better if you swapped out the 1045T for a FX-6300

It's basically the same thing as that 1045T but with a higher clock, updated architecture, and the leisure of having a better upgrade route w/ AM3+ and not be yers behind everyone else.

And for a decent motherboard, ASRock makes 'em good.

Ah, okay. That second link just went to the 6300 again. But more importantly, will that motherboard support the 6300 out of the box?
