The Intel G3258, while only a dual core, can be overclocked to perform on the level on the i3. In our case, we will use the stock cooler and you should be able to give it a mild overclock that will give it performance that will beat the FX-6300 in some games, and will stay play well in the others.

The GTX 750 Ti is an excellent buy, as it doesn't use very much electricity and in turn, you can use a cheaper power supply. It will game with high to ultra settings at 1080p.
