Budget Gaming LCD Monitor

Am just assembling my first gaming rig and am on kind of alow budget. I would like some reccomendations on an lcd gaming monitor, between 19'' - 23'' .

Ive no ideas what the 5000:1 color ratios mean and so i can't decide on which monitor is or isn't suitable for gaming.

Am planning to spend $200 max. on the screen.

Hi Starges,

LCD Monitors today can be a bit expensive, especially Widescreen 19"-23" monitors. I've looked into a couple, and I think you should look into this:

The first one isn't lcd or is it?

Look for Aoc 2330v 23" wide Lcd display will fit your budget or if you could add 15$ to your budget then i recomend Aoc 2436vw a 24" display

The first one is definitely LED. Whats the difference between LED and LCD, other than the technology used in creating both?
