Guys i want to assemble or upgrade my current rig in a tight budget..parts needed processor & mobo..currently i m using a Core2duo E7600 with Ati Radeon 4650 1Gb(i know its outdated & sh*t,but it runs most things good bcoz of the res ie,1024x768) & 8GB corsair vengeance ddr3 1333mhz ram..so this time i m going with AMD bcoz of my budget..apart from some gaming i do some video conversion so need some cores some surfing & watch hd movies :sol: so i decided to go with AMD FX-4100(as Phenom ii X4's are not available in stores here)..i know that this thing not performs like phenom ii x4 965 but its like 955 so i guess if i oc it little like 4ghz it will give a decent performance..About mobo i m going with a very cheap one,i have 3 choices(blive me i cant afford more than this now,in future i will replace this with some good one) they are
Prices are converted to $$$ approx.
1. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A78LM_LX/ == $54

2. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A78LM_LE/ ==$56

3. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4000#ov ==$74

Which one will be the best for the processor???If u like to know my preference then i'll go with no.2 & i havnt read anything good about no.3 & i also prefer Asus :)

So wat do think about all about this & i will surely replace the mobo & gfx card & cooler in near future some good stuff..&&& how much difference i will notice in terms of performance in games & applications???

Something to keep in mind with these older boards is that sometimes they need to boot up with an athlon2/phenom2 so you can flash the bios to one that supports the FX chips. Sometimes they come out of the box with old firmware. Do you have a friend or someone with an AMD chip you could borrow if you need to flash the bios?

Probably yes...but before taking the mobo i will check the fx supported bios release date & compare it with the manufacture date of the mobo..if itis manufactured after the bios release then probably it will have the latest bios..

OR SHOULD I WAIT FOR PILEDRIVER????ANY NEWS WHEN ITS GETTING OUT???
