Can anyone recommend the best cheap gaming mouse for £20 or less? On rare occasion I may become frustrated with a game and take it out on the mouse (usually my poor old keyboard gets the worst of it though) so it needs to be extremely durable.

I'd also like it to look good. Obviously that's subjective but I personally think the ASUS UX300 and CM Storm Xornet look pretty sweet. While those Mad Cat Rat mice or whatever they're called look absolutely ridiculous to me.

Maybe that's a lot to ask for £20 but if there is something (or if the two I mentioned above are any good) then let me know :)

Thanks for the advice but I'm coming from a Raptor LM2 and I'm not impressed at all with the quality - scroll wheel is slipping off the mechanism and thumb buttons are very spongey feeling. Shame because other than wheel and thumb buttons it feels like a quality, well-made mouse. How about the ASUS Echelon?

The axiom that ya get what ya pay for applies .... Quality doesn't come at £20

The Logitech MX 510 was a great mouse .... simple, comfortable, durable.... have one for about 7 years, now on it's 3rd PC. M500 and M560 are reasonably priced.

Asus GX950 is an excellent Mouse but is £38

Haha it certainly doesn't come at £8 (what the LM2 cost). The ASUS Echelon actually goes for £35-40 typically but Overclockers had one in stock at £20! Reviews are generally positive (if not glowing, but they're reviewing it as a £40 mouse, not a £20 mouse) so fingers crossed. If it disappoints then I'll post back to warn others.
