Hello everyone,
Approximate Purchase Date: This Week
Budget Range: £520-570 [$800 roughly US]
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, office work, internet
Parts Not Required: Monitor, speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Not sure about any UK computing sites as I have never ordered before
Country of Origin: England
Parts Preferences: None really, if AMD CPU AM3+ mobo will be needed. I suppose Intel is more expensive so that is bad for me...
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Not in the near future
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, 24" 1080p monitor [ I will purchase one soon ]
Additional Comments: I can go for older GPU's as long as I can play games on high but not maxed settings in 1080p. I was looking at the GTX 560 Ti
More info....
I'm looking to build a gaming PC that is capable of playing in 1080p and on high settings, the settings don't need to be maxed though, all for £520, which I believe is roughly $800 US.
I live in the UK so please, only links that I can order from the UK, thanks.
Please can someone recommend a cheap build for me? I don't mind if the CPU is AMD or Intel, just that if it is AMD I would prefer a AM3+ mobo because of bulldozer
.
I'm really not sure about the GPU although I hear the GTX series is good, I don't know about cases but I don't want to be wasting money on aesthetics, although a nice looking case would be nice if its a reasonable price. ***Would the GTX 560 Ti be OK?*** No SLI needed
PSU I have no idea how to work out how many Watts is needed so please help me on that.
4GB of RAM will be fine for me.
OS Win7 64 bit
Needs a WiFi card 🙁
Looking for 1TB HDD
Any 24 DVD RW optical drive will be fine
Please add if I've missed anything out, I maybe be able to get a bit more money, like an additional £40 or so
***If possible can the build include the Phenom Hexacore 1100T? I've heard good things, considering an i5 build would be out of my league***
Thanks so much I really appreciate it
