Greetings!
First of all, I am from the Philippines so; Mabuhay to all the Filipinos here and cheers to everyone.
For the past few weeks, I have been thinking of building my own budget gaming PC as a gift to myself since Christmas is just around the corner. On top of that, my current rig is a really, really old entry-level PC that I've been using since 2009. It is running on Intel Core2Duo, 4gig RAM and on GeForce 9400 GT.
Recently, I have been visiting this site to look for a lot of answers to all the questions regarding the components for my future build. And for that, I want to thank the whole community in which have become very helpful to me in answering the majority of my questions/concerns regarding my build.
Not to bore you any longer, I wanted to ask for opinions regarding my future build. I only managed to get what is available at a local store in which they are offering these components at a reasonable price point compared to other known store (but if there are other stores out there where I can get a very low price offered, it will be very much appreciated.)
Components:
CPU - AMD Vishera FX6300 3.5Ghz
Mobo - MSI 970 Gaming (AM3+)
RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2X4gb)
Storage - WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5 WD10EZEX
GPU - Gigabyte R9-380 G1 Gaming OC 4GD5 256Bit
PSU - Corsair CX500 PSU
Chasis - Aerocool VS-92
First of all, I opted for an AMD processor since it is a trusted and durable brand for gaming.
For the GPU, at first, I was aiming for the R9 290X since this is on sale when I visited the store's website, I was actually hesitant to get this GPU since it might bottleneck the system itself because of the processor I'll be using for the build. Overclocking is not really my option this point, since this is my very first build after for a very long time and I am actually afraid of breaking stuff.
So, what do you guys think?
Thank you very much in advance,
