**Budget Gaming PC build for me and my brother!!

So I'm putting together a gaming pc for me and my younger brother. I'm a first time builder, so I'm new to all this. I already have two parts:

Case: Antec One mid-tower
Processor: AMD FX-4170
Also, I have my monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I'm looking for the best bang for my buck when it comes to the rest of it. We don't play super extreme games. To run BF3 would be nice! But for the most part we play a lot of Gmod, Half-Life, and most Valve games. My budget is around $500-$600, but if I can get it lower without losing quality then I'm all ears.

If anybody can tell me some quality parts that would go well with the ones I already listed above, that'd be really good

Well, you can go with a basic AM3+ motherboard.

Since you are playing mostly Valve games, you can go with a Radeon HD7770, which can pretty much max all Valve games.

Then, I would go for a Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB. Enough space for more stuff than you would think.

Then, go for a power supply. Since the 7770 does not draw much power, you can get something like the Antec VP-450.

As for a DVD drive, you can pretty much get the cheapest on Newegg. Make sure it is a DVD-RW though. They all work fine.

Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Graphics card: ASUS Radeon HD 7770
Power Supply: Antec VP-450
Storage: Western Digital WD Blue 500GB
Processor: AMD FX-4170 Zambezi 4.2GHz

Pingypoker, yup! I received the memory, case, and processor as a gift. So I'm just wondering what the next bang for my buck is for the rest of it!

The 7770 is a great card. My GTX460 has equivalent performance to the 7770, and I was able to play all the games I wanted to play on high or better settings.
