Hi, I'm looking to build a PC for 800$ max this summer. Does anyone have recommendations? This cost is with monitor and without OS. Thanks in advance for the help!

This should suit your needs and it's pretty darn close to your goal - you could skinny down the drive to a 500 GB, you could downgrade from a 760 to a 750ti (wouldn't recommend it as a first option), you could downgrade the processor but I think it's a could spec:
