Budget gaming pc

i want to make a gaming pc on a small budget, can anyone help me?
purchase date: mid -september (in 1-2 weeks)
budget range $0-400 canadian
dont need monitor, mouse, keyboard
no preferred website, just worried about expensive ass shipping like on magicmicro.com : shiping cost $58!
i live in Ontario, Canada just outside Toronto
considrering overclocking if cpu is under 3ghz
im following a guide to asking for help and i have no clue what sli/crossfire is.
im not sure of my resolution i have a 24" led monitor and im going to use the HDMI port
additional: i would really like to have an hdmi port on the pc, and i dont really care about a cool looking case if its extra.

Alternately an athlon II X3 with a AM3+ board so you can swap in bulldozer later, running a GTX 550 or a HD 6770 should fit in your price range.

BullDozer is the name given to the new AMD processors due to come out in the next few weeks/months using the 32nm chip.

LLano is the code name for AMD's first mainstream APU (GPU on die with CPU)

It was released at the end of June and may just be the ideal mainstream desktop box.

Basically the A8 is a 2.9 GHz Athlon II with a built in HD5570. Llano comes in two flavors. the A6 and the A8. The A6 is only 2.6 GHz, and has more like a 5550 included.

yes. It'll do High settings gaming at 1680x1050, medium settings for 1920x1080. Add a 6670 which will automatically crossfire with the 6550D, and you'll be 30-60 FPS at high settings with most games, including intense games like Metro 2033 and BF3

as for the case, the HAF912 will work with anything, but might be a bit expensive for your build.

Well, I started pricing things out with the A8 3850...and it came to about $500 with CPU, MOBO, RAM, HDD, DVD, Case, and Video card.

I think they are saying if you went with the amd llano or a8-3850 you save money on getting a graphic's card. You can probably increase your ram to 8 and later when you can afford it get a graphics card

the A8 you do not need to add a graphic card that is. I went to ncix.com and ordered mines but I spent around 575 including tax and shipping (which at the time was only 5-10) dollars. I went for bigger hdd and psu
