Budget Graphics Card for Photoshop and Lightroom

I am looking for a budget graphics card for use with Lightroom, Photosphop, and a little Premier video work. I use dual monitors.

The motherboard will be a Gigabyte - GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 ATX LGA1151 with an i7-6700K.

I'd like to stay close to $200.00.

Does the following look reasonable?

Would satisfy your need and the budget although that is some serious cpu.

The CPU is for my 'day' job. I work in IT (enterprise system performance) and occasionally have to simulate issues locally. The photoshop/lightroom work is my hobby....

At the $200 price point, I would urge you to look at AMD's RX 580 4GB, especially if you are doing productivity things beyond gaming. It's a much better GPU that will serve you longer than a 3GB 1060 (which is not simply a 6GB 1060 design with half the memory - it's a different card altogether). Like this one from MSI:

I don't see how it's serious but anyways; photoshop and lightroom don't care too much about gpu but it would make more of a difference in premiere. For the budget, you'd be looking at the 1060 3gb or rx 480/580 4gb. Performance is pretty close in premiere so I'd just go with what is cheaper and it seems I can find the 1060 3gb for $30 less.

The GPU will help more if your work is more complex. If as a hobby you are working with smaller image files, and few if any video effects, a videocard won't make much difference. A 1050 might be all you need if that's the case.
