Budget HTPC build

Building a HTPC for mothers day and need some different views on the parts I picked out. She wants to watch movies and browse the internet on her TV. Anyways how do you think this will fare as an HTPC?

I've already got a CX500 watt PSU from an older build. As well as an optical drive and a wireless keyboard. She can use her smartphone or tablet for a remote.

Also I was thinking about going AMD for this build. Like an AMD A4-5300?

Oh and Linux + XBMC.

I may just get a bit more RAM like 4GB, but other than that, looks good for a Linux + XBMC build. Good job!

Only reason I said 4GB (2x 2GB) of RAM is dependent upon what web browser she uses. Firefox still has some RAM spikes. I guess she can close it more often, but a little more RAM won't hurt and it can't increase the price by much.
