Problem with the HP is it's sff. You limit what psu/GPU you can use in those things without being very creative. Depending how much gaming the op plans to do, might try to find something like an old Dell optiplex mini tower that takes a normal sized PSU and GPU with a 2nd generation i7 or better, and at least 8gb of ram.

A system like that you could at least upgrade to something like 16gb of ram if desired and have enough cpu power to maybe even drop in a gtx 1070 or 2060 or something if you really wanted to try it.

The price seems about right and as long as it has a PCIe slot that will take a graphics card, it should do light gaming. You may want to consider shopping for a used Radeon RX 570 instead of the 1050.

I found an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF system with an Intel i5-4570s, (that's a 4th gen i5) 8GB DDR3, 500GB HDD for $123.00 on e-bay so you can do better. System also has SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0.
