Hi I am looking to build a computer for my Dad who likes to play around with his Go Pro. He isn't doing any proffesional editing but wants to be able to make some videos without it taking days to render 😛

This a quick build I came up with:

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor ($129.93 @ Canada Computers)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 ATX FM2 Motherboard ($56.36 @ Canada Computers)
Memory: Kingston Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($83.37 @ DirectCanada)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($76.55 @ Vuugo)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 2GB Video Card ($136.22 @ DirectCanada)
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($68.67 @ Newegg Canada)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($67.78 @ Newegg Canada)
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer ($20.34 @ Vuugo)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($110.03 @ TigerDirect Canada)

Please keep it around this price point and I need the operating system also.

Please leave your suggestions below.

Please answer as fast as possible we would like to buy the parts today 😛

amd cpu and nvidia work together, but not AMD APU a8, it has integrated amd radeon gpu. which will be pretty bad pair with nvidia

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($119.99 @ NCIX)
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($69.98 @ Newegg Canada)
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($56.99 @ Amazon Canada)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($64.79 @ DirectCanada)
Video Card: Galaxy GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB Video Card ($119.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Cougar Solution (Black) ATX Mid Tower...
My budget is about $600- 650 Canadian without the operating system but I would like to keep it as cheap as possible.
Also I know it's goody to put a AMD CPU and a Nvidia GPU but would they work OK together. I want the 650 because it has CUDA and I hear that it is good for video work.
