My laptop hp probook 450 g3 has an m2 slot but i don t know if it is sata only or it can do nvme, in case is sata only can you sugest me the best cheap sata m.2 ssd for 120/128gb storage

i have an hdd and i have an free m.2 slot ,i am not sure if the m.2 is sata only or it works with pcie also ssds

you are right, what would you chose between Intel E5400s 120gb and WD Green 120gb
i live in romania and the price gap is bigger and not worth it in my opinion and i don t have a lot of money right now this is why these are my options also my laptop isn t my main rig i have a better pc i just wanted to put an ssd in the laptop to make it faster

yeah i understand your point, these 2 are on sale and their price is around 65 dollars, the cheapest 240gb ssd is 150 usd, this is the reasoning for my choice, the intel one is cheaper as well with about 5 dollars, do you think the intel one is more reliable or the western digital one, or maybe wich one would you choose given all the aspects

I don t find so many benchmarks about intel ssd but i think i will go with it just because it has a 5 year warranty vs 2 year on WD green

I will go for the intel one it seems pretty solid and i have a longer warranty term 5 years compared to 2
