Budget micro-ATX video editing build

Hello everyone, I'm looking to do HD video editing, and hopefully this build will be fairly future-proof. From what i've read, for video editing, the built-in Intel 3000 graphics on the i5 2500k would be better than any discrete graphics card. Thoughts? I've also seen that the i7 2600k would be a worthwhile upgrade for video editing - any input on that? Also, I can't find anywhere if this motherboard can boot over PCI-e. If it can, I'd go for an OCZ revodrive.

So just make sure you are choosing it for what it does,...

As for the build,...
CPU - If you have enough money for the 2600K, then go for it,... It performs as good or better than the Intel's 6-Core LGA 1366 CPUs,...

Mobo - That is a good board, but if you go with a little powerful graphic card(with dual-slot cooler), then it would block the PCI Express x1,...

I'd have to say wait for BD in my personal opinion. With the expected performance increase of the BD chips and the fact that a 6-core BD chip costs the price of a quad Intel chip. I think it's safe to say that having those extra cores would be a sweet bonus. Now don't get me wrong, 6-cores doesn't mean better. I'm just saying having those would possibly be beneficial in the future, perhaps they're even better than the virtual cores you get with the 2600K.

Oh also, I'm going to guess if the BD is expected to outperform/perform at the level of the i7's that the 6-core is going to match up with the 2500K. In multi-threaded apps I feel it'll win too. Mainly since it has 2 more physical cores and the 2500K just doesn't have HT, though only time will tell.

Long story short. I think you should wait and see.
