I'll be finishing up buying a CPU mobo and ram as the other parts have arrived. I'll use an 8gb USB sandisk stick for mining and I have a 32 to run Linux off a stick as well if needed for now and upgrade to an SSD and add more ram later if it gets used for other things, I'm thinking possibly for video but not gaming. On hand are the pair of R9 270s that were on sale with corsair psu a Z5 box.
Cash is limited but is that extra $60 for a six core CPU going to make this a much better pc and give it greater value overall ? Anyone running something similar ? Will the video cards require dummy plugs , anyone know?
Thoughts on differences between going with a 6core over the single core CPU ? Here's the pcpartpickers

Sorry wanna be a real man had to move this for some reason to make himself appear like what? Something he obviously isn't, intelligent. People like mister wish he was his user name are the internets biggest idiots , someone who thinks he's somehow able to judge others. This turns what I thought an informative site into the typical ignorantly user ran troll group with nothing better to do then pretend they police a website, that itself is akin to book burning and nazis. What's wrong with that brain ? Loser wanna be. Toms hardware is disgraced by loser users obviously.

Sorry for the bad apples. What was the problem. also i think the extra cpu power is not beneficial in mining rigs and the extra heat and noise is not going to be beneficial. not an expert though. It seems most people run on low heat low power rigs. If it is for gaming as well as for mining the i3-4130 gets my pick, but the fx 6300 is also a great cpu for other tasks besides mining. Are you sure you want to mine this late in the game, nothing wrong but I don;t think its worth the effort. If its just for trying something new, then by all means have fun.
