Budget monitor for 720p gaming?

Hey guys I currently own an old monitor (1280x1024 display) but I'm thinking to get a new one since I want to record my gameplays in 16:9 format.

I have a budget computer so I bet it can't hold games at 1080p so any recommendations for a 720p monitor ?

720P monitors are basically nowhere these days, the resolution is too small. Your much better off buying a 21.5" 1080P monitor and lowering the resolution to 720P.

What is your system specs? It could maybe handle 1080P.

I have a i5 4460 and RX 460, the games on 1280x1024 (which is 720p I guess?) runs perfectly on high settings

Dunno about 1080p

A 460 should run 1080P just fine at medium even high settings. But if you want ultra settings you'll have to lower your resolution to 900P.
