Yeah a nice screen is of course nice but wildly overrated imo.
For example I'm.still gaming on my 6 years old LG 1080p screen that I got for 110€ back in the day
And yeah it got minor backlight bleeding, it has a lot of bluelight and colours aren't as vivid. Does it hold me back in games? Not really. If I make a good or bad play doesn't depend on the screen but your brains and reflexes imo.

People are complaining about things like ghosting or frame tearing in the reviews. I myself have used only laptops till now, this would he my 1st pc. I mean that i dont even know what ghosting looks like so would i be able to notice any of these things people are talking about, assuming that i am a average level gamer who only plays casually??

But there's a lot of stupid-talk about screens and it's hard to separate facts from disinformation & fanboyism (I will never forget the discussion between a diehard Asus fan and an Acer enthusiast who were arguing which monitor was better. They both used the same screen as Acer and Asus used the same OEM manufacturer for those models)
