Question Budget Monitor Recommendations

I'm looking to upgrade an old, very outdated monitor. I mostly use the computer for website development and office work, but I am a compulsive multi-tasker, so I need lots of real estate. I might play games from time-to-time, or some multimedia, but I am mainly after a great looking monitor on a strict budget. I can afford $400, but would prefer $150... Any recommendations?

samsung monitors seem to be well made and reliable, had mine for 13 years, still works great.
