I currently have a system with an Asrock B450 steel legend and a Ryzen 5 2600.
I plan on upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600x in the future and I hate this motherboard and want to change it first.

After looking at a couple options, I decided my budget for the board will be a maximum of 300 CAD (maybe a little more if it really is worth it).
The MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI looked pretty nice to me. It's features were exactly what I needed and the aesthetics look good.

I read about a few people saying the VRMs on it were pretty bad and i'm a little concerned about warranty returns for MSI, if I ever need to.

What do you guys think about this motherboard and MSI in particular?
Do you have any other suggestions? (I hate Asrock after a couple dab products from them don't suggest me those)

The features I need are:
  • X570 chipset
  • Full ATX size
  • At least 4 chassis fan headers (6 ideal)
  • 4 RAM slots
  • 2 M.2 slots
  • At least 3 SATA 6Gb/s ports
  • Troubleshooting LEDs
  • 2 USB 2.0 headers
  • Not being ugly
  • 12v RGB headers (2+ ideal)
Thank you for your help.

The VRM on the EDGE is not bad, but pretty basic. It is not suitable for hard overclocks...

If you want a better Overclocker, go with the TOMAHAWK. MSI is fine otherwise...
