Budget PC <$350

Ok, my dad needs a new computer and he doesn't want to pay much for it. It will be used for email and internet browsing and thats about it.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within the next few weeks BUDGET RANGE: $350 is the absolute most...would prefer cheaper though

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: email and surfing the internet and music

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (examples: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS) keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, os....basically he just needs the actual computer and thats it

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg but will consider any with a good rep

PARTS PREFERENCES: any

OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Idk but he keeps it low....probably somewhere around 1028x764

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: quiet would be better but as good of performance as possible for the price

That looks good. It really just needs to do the basic things and last 2 or 3 years.

Haha well that 760G has a shiny BIOS for 955BE even if u ever need more horsepower down the road but for email and surfing the internet and music i doubt so 😛

Will that case keep everything running cool? I know the system wont be under load so it shouldn't get overly hot, but my dad also wont check the temps every once in awhile to make sure they are ok.

Essentially it is running on integrated video and mostly with this sort of rigs i would just run at stock speeds + stock HSF and consider under volting. Never has heat issues to date

Check load temps with orthos when you get it....if you don't want to wait for shipping just order some fans of the correct mm to attach to the machine...
