Hi I am really new to PC gaming and want to build my first PC. My budget is around 500$. I want it to be able to play games like team fortress 2 and other light games on high settings. Others like skyrim I am willing to play on medium or even low at a good fps.I do need an OS also.
Thanks for any help!

I did a build for a little over $500 after rebates that will play Far Cry 3 at 1080p at high settings.

Solution

So far this is my favorite, thanks for putting forth the effort to help me. Just wondering what settings you would recomend on skyrim for this build.
