I'm building my first gaming pc and I've been looking for parts and this is what I think I will buy:
Mobo: ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 R2.0
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 950 WindForce 2 OC
RAM: HyperX Fury (2x4 GB)
PSU: EVGA 100-W1-0500-KR (500W)
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue 7200rpm 64MB SATA III 3.5
Case: Deepcool TESSERACT BF or Cooler Master Elite 370
I really wanted somebody with experience to tell me if this is a good build in general and if any of the parts I got usually give problems. I would also like if someone would advise me on the case.
NOTE: I'm from Portugal and I'm ordering most of the parts from amazon.es.

Some of those parts, including the case and power supply, did not come up as available at amazon.es

I think you have a reasonable, low-cost build. I hope it works well for you. I did consider suggesting an Intel-based build, but it seems your processor came out tops in the cpubenchmark.com value-for-money list. :)

Edit: And do take note of SR71's PSU recommendations. They are usually very good.

Edit2: there was an XFX 650W model in the same series for less, so I updated my build to include that. :)

Yea, I did see your recommendation after I posted and mentioned that OP should take note of your recommendation.

Subsequent I also looked at the XFX series and revised my build list. Do you think the 650 is of similar quality to the 550W?it significantly cheaper.

First thanks a lot for the fast reply.

In the PSU do you know any other PSU that is good but a bit cheaper?

And about the RAM, is it better to have a 2x4 or a single 8?

First thanks for really fast repply.
Do you know of any PSU that is cheaper and as good as that? Because I have been looking and it says that I only need like around 350W i guess.

I don't think you can get a great PSU for any much less. For sure, feel free to look at this list of top tier PSUs and look around. Bear in mind that a healthy margin of over-specification in the PSU will stand you in good stead. If you later decide to upgrade your graphics card, which will be the first bottleneck in your system, the PSU will still serve you.

As for RAM, 2x4 gives you dual-channel and 1x8 doesn't. But the difference is small and not important enough if you can save money. You don't probably need much more than 8 GB ever, so don't go 1x8 and plan to upgrade later. That's not wise.
