Hi everyone was just wondering what I could replace or change in this pre-existing build to reduce cost but not considerably reduce performance.

(My price is in AUD)

Solution
My edits with ssd, 16gb ram, better motherboard, 550 psu for better upgrade potential, RX580 4gb is slightly slower than 1060 6gb, better much better bang for the money:

Oh... strange well my budget is trying to stay under $1000 AUD but a little over for a differential amount of performance is fine. I would say max $100 over the budget of $1000.

CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 ($189)
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1060 6gb ($409.55)
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500gb ($115)
Motherboard: ASRock H310M-HDV mATX LGA1151 ($83)
RAM: Corsair 8GB (1x8) DDR4-2133 ($101.19)
Power Supply: Corsair CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($78)
Case: Haven't found any that are cheap and nice looking for my budget.
Total: $975.74.
So yeah... I'm just looking for any changes that would be better off in terms of being worth my money/ price point. However, I want to stick with a 1060 or the AMD equivalent.
Thank you.

Can definitely be better.

Dual channel RAM at a much faster speed. Better quality PSU. You can add an SSD later, or if you want, just add it now.

Slightly over, but the better SCP of Intel should give slightly more FPS.

Thanks, everyone for your input... for now I'm thinking about vapours build however Archit your Intel build will definitely be in mind too... I just like that the build includes an SSD along with an HD plus 16gb ram is nice.
