Hi, I was just posting to see what you guys think of the PC build I am going to get. I don't need a 400 FPS triple A game smashing beast, just a modest PC that can run games on medium settings, with about 100 FPS. I mostly play CS:GO, and that game isn't very hard to run. My budget is about $550 to $600. I have posted on many forums and this is basically my best bang-for-the-buck PC for my price point. Also I am basically buying everything from Amazon and ebay. Here is my build:

CPU Intel Core i3 - 8100 = $129.79
Motherboard Gigabyte H310M = $55.00
GPU Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB = $120.00
RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8GB (2x4GB) = $90.00
HDD Western Digital 1 TB 7200rpm WD10EZEX = $50.00
Case Thermaltake Versa H18 Glass Window = $44.18
PSU Corsair CX Series 650w =$60.00
SSD Kingston A400 120GB SATA = $28.00
Cooling Rosewill 120mm Fan 4-Pack = $15.00
= $583 ($582.97)

I've been down the AMD path and it doesn't really suit me as well as this.

Not going to go in a deep discussion here, but are you talking about you have already tried a RYZEN cpu or one of the older AMD ones (which were not that good)?
Modern AMD chips are better than anything Intel can do for the same price point.

No I mean for my price point it doesn't do as well. Either I go down in price but also quality, or up in price for better quality. I don't want to go down, and my max budget is $600. Also PC Partpicker isn't always the cheapest, it says my build is over $1k when I can get it for around $600.

Yeah it's a 450w Bronze not 650 soz.

Alright two more things then. :)
1. Your motherboard only has 2 ram slots, so it will limit you to 8gb of ram, which might not be enough for more modern titles.
2. I have a 120gb ssd as well and its really not enough for most things. 250gb should only be a bit more expensive and will definitely be worth it.
Other than that, seems like a good build.

on the power supply swap it out for one of the new seasonic focus units. there are better units. lets chance of it failing over time. for your cpu and ssd if your close to a micro center look at there combo deals. in a few weeks is black friday and cyber monday.

But I can later upgrade to 2x8GB DDR4 (16) correct? Also I just want the SSD for my operating system. The 1TB HDD is for everything else.
