Hi there,
I'm looking for a new (budget) PC that would run Avid Media Composer quite smoothly.
After some research on the internet, this is what I've come up with so far:

Storage (Data): 1000GB Crucial MX500 2.5" (6.4cm) SATA 6Gb/s 3D-NAND TLC (CT1000MX500SSD1)
Storage (System) 240GB Kingston A1000 M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x2 3D-NAND TLC (SA1000M8/240G)
Memory: 32GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700 6x 3.20GHz So.1151 BOX
Graphics: 5GB PNY Quadro P2000 Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail)
Power Supply: 500 Watt be quiet! PURE POWER 11 500W

That's a total of ~1.200 € so far. My max budget would be at 1.500 €.

As you can see, I'm still missing a compatible motherboard. (Well, and a case but that shouldn't be a problem.) Any suggestions? Would you advice to make changes to the build mentioned above?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Mario

Thanks for your input!
I've thought about that, too. But it seems (or so I've read), Avid MC doesn't work that well with Ryzen so I'd rather stick with Intel, even if it's pricier.
