Hello,

I am looking to build a new PC, since my old one is 8 years old and doesn't play anything above 25 fps. My budget is about 700€. I've put together a PC, that looks good to me, but I just want to be sure that everything fits and works. I am not chasing crazy high FPS. Just enough to get around 40-60 FPS on current and upcoming games on high settings.

Motherboard : Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 (81,25€)

CPU : AMD FX-Series FX-8320 SAM3+ BOX FD8320FRHKBOX (166,23€)

CPU cooler : Cooler Master GeminII M4 RR-GMM4-16PK-R1 (27,38€)

GPU : MSI AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 R9270GAMING2G (172,97€)

RAM : 2x Kingston 4GB DDR3 PC14900 CL10 DIMM HyperX Fury Red Series (28,04€)

PSU : Corsair Builder CX500 ATX2.3 (64,67€)

Case : Cooler Master Force 251 FOR-251-KKN1 (27,67€)

HDD : Western Digital Black 1TB 7200RPM SATA3 64MB WD1003FZEX (77,59€)

Case fans : 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 2000 RPM Red LED R4-L2R-20AR-R1 (8,36€)

Oh and I am from Estonia, so these are the prices we have.

The site is in estonian, but you can still see the parts. Thank you for all the help 😀

I did this with that website you showed:
http://i.gyazo.com/f2cadbe64542ea88f1c7457ac19a5ba5.png

It is a better build in everything (it has no fans and no cpu cooler, but the stock cooler from the cpu should work just fine), but the PSU is the problem there, there isnt any good psu in that website, that corsair one is the best, cant you find any more store that sells other parts?

Keep in mind that i removed the fans, i dont find it something essencial since your computer wont overheat much
The FX-8 CPU's aren't really designed for gaming. Games don't tend to use more than 4 cores so the FX-8 8 core will give pretty much the same performance as the equivalent quad core. I would switch the FX-8 for either an FX-4 or an i3.

Other than that it looks fine to me.

I changed things around a bit and now it looks like this:

CPU : AMD FX-Series FX-4300 SAM3+ FD4300WMHKBOX (105.90€)

CPU fan : Cooler Master GeminII M4 RR-GMM4-16PK-R1 (27,38€)

GPU : MSI AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 R9270GAMING2G (172,97€)

RAM : 2x Kingston 4GB DDR3 PC12800 CL10 DIMM HyperX Fury Red HX316C10FR/4 (2x 25.97€)

PSU : Enermax ATX 2.3 Revolution X't 630W ERX630AWT (92,25€)

Case : Cooler Master Force 251 FOR-251-KKN1 (27,67€)

HDD : Seagate BARRACUDA 7200 1TB SATA 64MB ST1000DM003 (53,17€)

Case fans : 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 2000 RPM Red LED R4-L2R-20AR-R1 (2x 8,36€)

Total : 654,68€

FX 4300 is not a good chip. Nothing below an FX 6300 should be considered, for an FX system.

I actually really like this build, but I'm thinking about an i3 and a Fractal Edison M 550W PSU. Are i3-s gonna be around for a while, because I'm afraid it won't do the job and I'm gonna regret my choices.

You could only change the psu of that build and put this one:http://www.1a.ee/arvutikomponendid/toiteplokid/fractal_design_atx_24_edison_m_550w_fdpsued1b550weu

It would then be a bit over budget, but its a good option

An i3 would be better, in most games, than an FX. AM3+ is dead. Granted 1150 isn't much better off, in that regard, but your upgrade options are better.

I think I'm gonna go with the build icegod put in here, with the change of the Fractal Design PSU. The i5 goes like 15€ over the budget, but that won't be a problem and I think it will be worth it. Thanks for all the help guys. 😀

Yea, if you can squeeze in an i5, definitely a good idea.
