Hey guys I am new to the forums and to building computer as well. This PC is my first ever build and I would like some feed back on it. I am on a tight budget but I want to game on Ultra settings. I have been researching and looking at benchmarks and this is what I came up with.

*OLD build List* https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tsLND8

*New build List* https://pcpartpicker.com/list/47GCKZ

Please feel free to change some parts if it would give me a better gaming experience + it is cheaper. Another problem I have is with cases, I dont know if the case I have in the list will support/house my components. Thanks again guys!

*edit* games that will be played are ARMA 3 @1080p, GTA5 @1080p, and CSGO at 1440!

Solution

Looks good. But i would rather stick to the i5 for better gaming capability. Change the psu to the one i listed. Its better.

The terms tight budget and ultra settings are not good friends

i3 has only two cores but it has hyper threading so u can play most games but 4 cores is the least when u want ultra
Some spend on 8,10,12 core CPUs to achieve ultra settings

Rx 470 is also not fit for ultra settings, generally people will recommend Rx480 for tight budget builds

Next thing is resolution
Please specify at what resolution u play games
There is a lot of difference between 720p utra and 1080p ultra

I bet ur build will reach at 700p ultra settings

The type of games also matter For ur given specs i can play Call of duty MW3 at 1080p ultra settings but it is not the same story for Witchers 3

Please specify further about resolution
Ur case is probably fine

Around 10 bucks over. High settings gaming, still not ultra.
