Need help on selecting parts for building my first pc. I am building it for gaming, CAD and engineering software.

Could you please first see if the components will be compatible.
Then could you list the cheapest prices you can find for each part and provide a link. I would prefer uk sites or that deliver to the uk for free/small charge.
My budget is around ~£500 (not including monitor)

Please don't hesitate to change the parts (model) if you find or know a better part for the price and performance it will deliver.

Here is a list of what i would like:

Motherboard: socket 1150, should have four ddr3 slots for memory, 16GB max support since thinking of upgrading in future up to (4x 4GB) of memory.
Gigabyte B85M-D3H similar to this board

CPU: i5 haswell (£150 max) been looking at i5 4590
have also been looking at AMD's fx 8320 (with AM3+ motherboard) but have come to the conclusion intel will perform better.

GPU: asus gtx 760, or gtx 750 ti. if any better card for the price please state

Memory: (2x 4GB) 8GB

Power supply: 500W (modular if better than normal) corsair would do

Drives: -1TB hdd
-thinking of putting a ssd (120GB) not sure if worth it?
-optical drive

Wi-fi card: (internal, PCI-E) 300Mbps

Case: max £30, mid tower, couple of fans included

Monitor: full hd (hdmi connections), 23"

thank your help will be much appreciated

thank you for suggestion

just a question on the cpu is there much difference in performance between 3.3GHz and 3.2GHz cpu and by how much?
What are the benefits of having a higher frequency?

100MHz definitely wouldn't be noticeable.
