Budget PSU for 6950?

As the title says, I'm looking for a cheap psu for the 6950 2GB
I do not plan on oc. The minimum requirement says 500w and looking around i decided to go with a 620-650w psu but goes a little over my budget
so my question is, can anyone recommend me a quality psu and has enough wattage for my 6950. Thank you 😀

a 500W is more than enough. Why buy something you can't afford that you don't need?

^+1,a quality 500w is enough.i would suggest this if you are on a low budget-
SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W
+12V@40A will easily feed your rig without any problems.any thing more is useless and waste of your $$.

I'm running an HD6950 on a Seasonic M12II-520 and it's absolutely stable. If you're on a budget, then don't get a PSU that is more than what you need. The M12II-520 is on sale right now at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151093

SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W
+12V@40A will easily feed your rig without any problems.any thing more is useless and waste of your $$.

The modular version is actually less expensive right now.

Thank you for all the replies, the reason why I chose a expensive psu is because many people say not to "cheap out" on the psu which made me very worried so thank you.
i guess ill be going with the one you guys suggested (seasonic 520)

Not that it really matters, but there's no overcurrent protection, the Seasonic is a single rail unit
