Building a computer soon with an i5 4690k and a gtx 970. I'm looking for a reliable psu that won't break the bank. I'm looking to add a second graphics card down the road so I'll be upgrading it when I do that anyway. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The first option. Just something to run the one card now, and i'll be upgrading it when i buy a second card in a few months. Probably around next summer before I go to college.

how about one that covers both? this one will run the system now and won't need to be upgraded for the second card as it will run 2 970's fine, handle overclocking of the cpu and gpu's. plus it is under the $100, semi modular and a high quality unit as well :)

they are the same psu and the first one i thought of when i read your post.

as anort says, the evga b2 is the best bang for the buck most of the time and with the rebates it usually has available, it is hard to pass on. no sense spending more for less psu that will have to be replaced later on anyway when this one is high quality and ready for the job you ask of it. 😀
