Question Budget PSU recommendations ?

Best i'd be comfortable with, would be Corsair RMe 750W at 115 quid,

While your PC can do with 650W unit as well, those cost more.
And less than 100 quid = not good enough PSU build quality.
Thanks for the advice. I did also find this: https://www.currys.co.uk/products/s...mXV8p5-AsB_Xz5M0GChoC5goQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I use one of these myself but higher wattage. 650W seems enough, if I use the Cooler Master PSU Calculator it would suggest system power consumption falls some way short of 400W. It's 352W with a 2060 Super as they don't have a 4060 Ti option and it seemed similar in power consumption. Most PSU calculators though would recommend to get 750W.

Solid unit and would've been my 1st suggestion if i would've found it myself.

Btw, i also use same series PSU, but mine is Focus PX-550 (powering my AMD build). The two other builds i have, are powered by Seasonic PRIME TX-650.
That's interesting, PX I think is a little better, can I ask what CPU and GPU your using in your AMD build?
Would you have any concerns about 650W for a 5600X and 4060 Ti? I know the 30 series had some transient spike issues which meant they could use dramatically more power than normal for very brief periods of time.

Focus PX has 80+ Platinum efficiency. If yours is Focus GX then you have 80+ Gold efficiency.

For my AMD build, nothing fancy. Old Athlon II CPU and HD7770 GPU. Full specs with pics in my sig.

RTX 40-series doesn't have such severe transient power spikes issues as RTX 30-series GPUs had them.

That GPU can pull ~178W under OC.

Same is when cross-referencing the data from TechPowerUp review,
link: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-ti-founders-edition/39.html

GPU spikes up to 169W.

So, let's say ~200W for GPU + ~200W for the rest of the system (including 65W CPU) = ~400W, making 650W PSU more than enough. Even having plenty of CPU/GPU OC headroom wattage wise.
