[SOLVED] Budget PSU

I am currently planning on rennovating an old office pc into something I can game on. I have most of the parts picked out, but I am having trouble choosing a budget PSU. I would prefer something cheap, 80+ white or bronze and 500-600 watts. On a side note, I will be getting an adaptor since my motherboard has a 14 pin slot if that matters.

S12III series is junk , made by Shenzhen Rui Sheng Yuan Technolog .
Don't buy one.
Production was outsourced , they are very poor PSU's.

Holy crap, thanks for the heads-up! I was completely unaware that SeaSonic was outsourcing. Not sure why they'd do that; they can't be getting enough benefit in return for cheapening their brand value.

I did note the wattage went from 520 to 550W. are the x20W units still seasonic?

I knew to avoid the XFX XTs (and those EVGA B3s that Super Flower outsourced), but I was unaware they were outsourcing the ones under their own branding too. Thankfully, I have not yet recommended one of the specific PSUs in question, but it's good to be aware.

I had a brand new corsair unit that died instantly so could never recommend them. I understand that I could have just been unlucky.
