The Hyper 212X is barely good enough to run that thing under stock..

Really, from what we've seen unless you want the thing running at space heater temps, you're going to want a high end air cooler or AIO water cooler, you're going to want to check the bios to make sure it isn't overvolted at stock, and you may want to look into delidding the processor and replacing the thermal paste.

If you're going for an AMD graphics card is an AMD processor out of the options? We're apparently only 2 weeks from launch, though admittedly the 7700k will still be the single threaded champion (extremely likely, though nothing is confirmed)

can you tell me another cpu cooler? its not that i dont like aio water cooler. its just im still a student and i dont want to take risk. about the processor i prefer intel over amd when it comes to cpu. and i didnt know how much the new amd cpu would cost.

I completely understand, there's nothing wrong with air coolers at all but with a high end chip you're going to want a high end air cooler to match.

I have no idea what your case is so i'm not going to limit myself by cpu height, the 212 is quite a tall heatsink anyway.

I also hear that the 212 Evo is meant to be slightly better than the 212 X.

Either way, you're going to be pushing the limits of these air coolers, the 7700k is a hot beasty.

my bad. my case is the nzt s340. and im using http://pcpartpicker.com if it helps.
and if ever instead of those and the 212 evo is the Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler would be enough? i just pick the 212 evo because of the low price so if i would buy above 40$ on cpu cooler i may prefer liquid cooling.

I'm sure we could rework your list as it seems you have chosen a lot of the first picks on partpicker, so you MAY be able to get the same performance cheaper with more looking.

If you are going AIO liquid cooling I would look for 240mm radiators or up, bigger radiator is better.

You are buying a top end, very hot processor, I highly recommend you do not cheap out on the cooling or you may be disappointed.
