Budget ryzen build with problems. Maybe I'm doing it wrong

OK so this is my first and build, my laptop died and I needed a pc.

Asrock ab350m pro4 mb
Ryzen 5 2400g apu
Evga 500w psu
Gskills ripjaws v 3200 2x8gb ram
2tb WD HDD
4 fans came with case.


So the problem. I've never had to clock a system so its all new to me but my ram is stuck at 2133 even when I try to clock it. I literally can't play any games that are modern on this system as it sits. Can anyone walk me thru an asrock oc?

Xmp is enabled

Every motherboard is different but basically you need to enable XMP. So look for xmp, probably under advanced somewhere.

I'd update the bios if you haven't already. I'd also try one memory stick at a time and see if you can overclock one stick by itself.
