budget Ryzen cpus

Solution

I currently have the i5 6500 but my friend purchased it from me, and im getting the i5 6600k or the 7600k im not sure yet. However i dont think 200-240 for a cpu is really expensive. I am going to be really upset if the new ryzen quadcores are going to be better then the i5 6600k.

If the leaked benchmarks are of any indication, Ryzen's IPC is that of Haswell (which is ~10% lower than Skylake). So a R3 1200X would be the closest, however it is weaker.

The R5 1500 seems to be the most impactful from the information we have so far. If I were to upgrade I would at least go for that chip.

Lol im guessing you have the i5 6600k the cpu is really good anyway and most likely be able to play the most demanding games I really hope the cpu market gets some competition intel has been dominating the market for years making cpus overpriced
