Question Budget TV for gaming?

What is your budget range cuz I'm partnered with ROG and can find you a good deal on recommended TVs that support Xbox. You said Xbox S wym like the Xbox One S or Xbox Series S?..........................

It really depends what your budget is, but ROG products are anything but budget. If you're looking for a TV for 500 dollars or less, you would get significantly more value for the money with something like the Hisense U6K 55". It has a Mini LED backlight for massively improved local dimming, resulting in better blacks, supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10+, and supports Variable Refresh Rate. Its only real downside is the mediocre brightness when reproducing HDR content, and its lack of 120Hz refresh rate. Still a solid TV and really punches above the price, especially if you're hooking this up to a Xbox Series S, in which case you wouldn't be getting much use out of a higher refresh rate panel.

If you have a little more to spend, around 700 dollars, the upgraded Hisense U7K 55" picks up the slack on the U6K. It still supports HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision, retains it's Mini LED backlight, and supports VRR, but has a much brighter panel to more accurately reproduce HDR content. It also has less input lag and better response times than the already outstanding U6K, and has HDMI 2.1 capability for 120Hz gaming. A great TV for playing video games for under one thousand dollars.

I am in Europe , Anything on Amazon.de that would be decent? its gonna be personal use for my room TV .

What resolution does the console use? What framerate is it capable of?

How big a screen are you looking at?

Where are you shopping from and what preferred retailer?
Amazon.de is where i would like to purchase due to having some discount (personal) .
I am gonna be playing on Xbox Series X , I am not sure what would be adequate size for it to be honest.

If you can afford it, hang on until you find a good, fairly recent second hand Sony Bravia ! Place a wanted ad too.

Go for a smaller TV if necessary to get a better one, and stick to 4K if you can.

Recent Bravias are great because of the 120/144 Hz, connections, colour, HDR etc.

Literally today... I just got a 2 year old 42" 4K X85K Sony Bravia for only $300 from an older guy who doesn't watch tv any more.... great for gaming, as well as damn near everything else. I mainly got it for watching TV/Movies though.

But keep in mind, unless you get a specific model with unusually good sound (like my parents did)... for most very recent smart TVs (especially Bravias)... the sound totally sucks, and you will really need a sound bar/sub if you want excellent sound.

They aren't like the much older heavier, thicker smart tv's which had fantastic sound. Now everything has to be super thin so people can wall mount (plus force you to buy sound bar/sub etc).

I was looking online for ages and ages and finally got this sweet deal, you never know what you'll find. Right now is the time to check daily as people will sell their old stuff after upgrading for xmas!

Avoid LG and Hisense, as they aren't actually Android TVs, no Google Play Store etc. You can't always sideload either, but if you do it is still limited and just problematic from what I hear.

BTW, I've also heard Amazon Basics (Amazon's own generic brands) actually do really decent cheap TVs and things? Check em out.

Good luck.

What would be best fit for a medium size room? I was thinking 43 to 50 inch? but i dunno its my 1st console lol
I have a pretty damn Small/Medium, typical bedroom... and I have a 55 inch Bravia. It's on the supplied Table top TV stand back against the wall, and I sit as far back against the other wall as I can.

I would not go any bigger in this kind of room.

You might want to consider mounting the TV to the wall with a VESA Mount as that might give you an extra 6-20 inches of space/viewing distance - which might help ?

But if you do that, think about speakers? Will you mount a sound bar on the wall too?
