Hi guys,

I am new to this forum. Want to build a new PC for Video Editing. Preferably Quad core, 8/16GB RAM. Not really bothered about the Gaming aspect, but if it can run them smoothly that would be great. Will be using Sony Vegas Pro/Adobe Premiere. Budget is around £300-£400. Also need a Wi-Fi card included.

Would appreciate if anyone can come up with some good specs to help me out.

Thanks

However if you're doing any sort of moderate level editing, you're going to have to increase your budget a tad.

$700 isn't going to go very far if you're talking about a full build.

Look at the entry level i3 CPU or even an AMD equivalent, entry level quad core is $200 and which is an i5. Possibly an R7 370 GPU on sale, might be able to get one for £70 if you're lucky. You'll have to go budget on your RAM and you'll probably only get 8gb. Get a basic Seagate HDD. Intel do fairly cheap wifi cards or you can use a cheap USB dongle. You'll only get a very basic motherboard/case/GPU/RAM etc with your budget.

Any basic case should work from a reputable manufacturer...

Mostly, you just need to save a bit more cash, otherwise you're going to have a machine that doesn't really do what you want it to.
