Budget water cooling for CPU?

I currently have an AMD FX 8350 and I'm using a Cooler Master Seidon 120v ver.2. It's cheap, good, bit noisy, but gets the job done very well.

It's a bit over budget, but this is the best available in that general area. http://ijk.com.au/branch/ijk/product_info.php?products_id=149157 at AU$108.

Unfortunately the Cooler Master suggested above seems to be unavaillable and the Nepton 120XL costs AU$125!?

I answered your question, but you do not NEED watercooling.

This http://ijk.com.au/branch/ijk/product_info.php?products_id=139834 would do a fine job and help keep the VRMs on your motherboard cool. If you want a really robust overclock, a AU$100 cooler is too weak.

Last question, what is your motherboard?

This may come off as rude, and if so I apologize. Water cooling isn't something you want to do on a budget. If you are cash-constrained, then an air cooler will give you far better price/performance and bang for the buck, I think a US$ 40-50 air cooler cools as well (and is probably as silent) as a $90-100 AIO water cooler.

If you go for the lower brands, you get poorer quality and worse noise as well.

If you want bling, then you need custom loops and that's really pricey.

I agree with Karsten75... Water/Liquid cooling is more of an enthusiast type of component, and you just don't want to cheap out on that type of thing. I've got an FX 6300 in my rig, and I strapped an EVO 212 onto it. Dropped the temps considerably, albeit without any overclock. Works like a dream. Unless you think you are going to try to do any serious overclocking, you don't need to spend the money. If your budget is truly important, a solid air cooler is more than adequate. As an added point, a buddy of mine bought a liquid cooler and put it on his FX 6300, and frankly, I get better temperatures than he does. He also is not overclocking.

Its a MSI 970 Gaming Mobo

Excellent. That's a good motherboard. It has heatsinks on the VRMs so cooling them is not a priority.

As most of those above have said, a moderate air cooler will do the job well, quieter, and cheaper.

The CRYORIG H7 is smaller, better, and easier to install than the CM 212 and only a couple of dollars more.

okay is it quiet though?

Quiet than most budget cooler and quieter than the combination of pump and radiator fans. I cannot hear my air coolers over ambient.
