Buffalo Airstation N150 to 3G-Router

Hi,
I tried to connect the N150 Router as a repeater or "Range Extender" as they say to my Edimax 3G-6200n Router. The manual is very confusing. It ask me to connect the Buffalo to my computer for configuration, but I cannot because it's occupied by the LAN cabel from the Edimax.
Again: Internet comes by 3G/HSDAP Stick to the USB Port of the 3G-Router Edimax. Der Edimax is connected to my Computer with LAN. I can connect wireless other Desktop PC and Laptop to the internet via the Edimax. I thougt with the Buffalo I can increase the range area, but without success. In contrary, 3 times I distroyed my stable internet connection via Edmax to my main PC. Please help.

You should have a computer connected to one of the LAN ports on the N150 to configure it. You don't need an internet connection to configure the router, just the correct IP addressing. Go to the web interface of the N150 by opening a browser and typing in the default IP address of the N150 (something like 192.168.1.1). You will need the IP configuration your Edimax is currently using. I believe both devices will need to be capable of WDS for it to be used as a repeater as well.

It's a really tricky router. If I am following the manual I should do a manual configuration because the master router is not a buffalo, but the option for manual configuration doesn't show up.
