According to their website, this one isn't shipping with ddwrt stock, which means its probably using one of the NIC controllers that doesn't have open drivers in Linux. That sucks, main reason I buy Buffalo is for the great open firmware support. dnsmasq, asterisk, etc all beat whatever hardware bling they can shove in an unsupported box with crappy firmware.

I was under the impression that AC works only on 5ghz. So this would be 866Mbps AC on 5Ghz and 300Mbps N on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

I'm liking the gigabit wan port. I needed one when connecting both my routers to each other (wan to lan) but I was limited to my Asus n16's 100mbps wan port.
