Hey everyone!

I want to build a PC, and I have a budget of $2000. I can go over this a little also.

Based on what you all have used, I would like to have the best possible at everything. I am probably not going to ever OC, if that makes a difference.

I am asking since I haven't been very knowledgeable since the Ivy Bridge era of Intel CPUs, and I assume a lot has changed since then. I have a large budget, but I don't want to overpay for anything like a keyboard, monitor, case, cpu, etc.

Some things to remember: I want a large, very high resolution monitor. This is going to be my main computer and I want it to remain high end for years. I want a WIRED keyboard, I would prefer a nice, professional and sleek look to a Razor gaming look (you know with the cool designs and bright colors... I don't want this atm). Simplicity is key when it comes to style, but comfort actually comes above that. I'm not sure if I like ergonomic keyboards that are split in the middle, but if those are proven to be more comfortable and help reduce joint pain from typing, I'm in. It's important to know that I don't type like a normal person. I type fast, but I only use my two index fingers. I'm not sure if I'm spitting out useless info but just in case, there you go :)

Remember, the budget is a little over $2000 (by "a little" I mean like $500 extra at most, could do $600 though). I think you guys might have fun with this, as you are pretty much making a dream machine.

I don't have a smart phone, I have a very cheap plan with my dumb phone. I also don't have a car, I use public transportation in my city. I live in a small apartment too, but I have a very well paying profession. The way I live gives me plenty of extra money to save and also spend. So that's why my budget is so high if you are wondering. I want an amazing computer.

So what do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

PS I want Windows 8 if that makes a difference.

And feel free to ask questions for clarification!

I was not sure if you are a gamer or not, but here is my build anyways equipped with an extremely powerful GPU, 32GB RAM, an i7 non-overclocking processor, and lastly a large 4K monitor:
