Build 1 vs Build 2

Pretty much the difference between the two is I traded out an i7 for the i5 and put in a 980 in place of the 970, which build would you prefer? Also I already have items such as os and HDD thats not in the builds.

If this build is just for gaming go i5 and 980. If you need more CPU power then go i7 with 970 and possibly upgrade to SLI 970 in the near future.

Pretty much only for gaming. Of course web surfing and what not. I do not edit any type of video nor do I plan on it. If I do I won't get into it that much.

an i7 isnt needed for gaming, the i5is more than enough, and you dont need 2133MHz ram, get a low profile 1600 or 1866 MHz kit (low profile because the NH-D14 is huge)

I will be streaming as well, will an i5 be efficient still? Also do you have a link to the RAM you prefer?
Edit* Also would it be better to get the i5 and 2 970 with sli for the same price or just buy the 980 with the i5?

For gaming and streaming then i5 + 980.

If doing encoding, editing, 3d modeling, or any other engineering software then the i7.

I guess my main question is should I just 970 sli with i7 or i5 with 980?
