Im going overseas for grad school and I wanted to build an gaming desktop and I have been doing my research for a while and I am just wondering is it cheaper to build the desktop in the US and just ship it to the UK? or wait and buy the parts in the UK? the build will not have water cooling or anything and I have seen people just ship an built computer back in the box the case came with foam and all. Any opinions?

If money is not an issue for you, I suggest SLI'ing a pair of TITANS it's more stable than 690 in SLI. 7990 is so problematic right now because of frame-related issues that is bugging that card and it runs too hot especially in Crossfire mode so I don't recommend getting the 7990.
I did some basic research on the USPS site I might have done th emath wrong but it said its gonna be $300 for shipping? from Washington D.C. (home) to London, UK. I might be wrong because that seems weirdly high

I hope thats not right I think I will be building it i guess in the UK. I got an bigger question now: since this is an gaming desktop whats an good graphics card that could last for a while. I know I did ask before and alot of people offered the 690 in SLI what about the 7990 crossfire? I like that it supports more than 3 displays any suggestions?
