I stay in Delhi, and I am looking to build a gaming pc under Rs. 1 Lakh, in December.

I would like to like to buy parts locally however, if they are not available in market I have no problems ordering them online.

Can anyone suggest any some good builds.

Grand Total: With MSI, Rs.1,09,194
With ASUS, Rs.1,07,534

Just extend your budget by about 10,000k. Go with MSI for performance or ASUS for silence. Just about 5 fps difference is between the two. I too am from India. :)

Well I have bought from both flipkart and snapdeal. But till now flipkart has had better packaging, better to have good packaging on such costly components. Yes, the keyboard and mouse are out of stock but I think before he buys it will come back to stock!

My thanks to both of you ...

I was also looking into similar configurations. However, I would like to ask one thing, if I don't plan on overclocking my cpu right now, do I really need an aftermarket cooler?

Also, I am not planning on buying an optical drive, so I can save a few bucks there.

I was also looking into ZOTAC for the gfx card, is there any problem with that?

As for the monitor I was looking at Dell ST2420L 24" - 12.5k on flipkart ... but I could consider LG 24MP76HM considering it's IPS. (however I do believe the 2.5k difference isn't probably worth it)

Thanks again. :)

No you don't need an aftermarket cooler if you don't wanna overclock by doing this you can save some money here and can buy a 250 gb ssd in place of 120gb...
There is no problem in zotac version...I m also using zotac gtx 760 amp right now...
The biggest difference between Dell ST2420L and LG 24MP76HM is that lg have an ips panal with 5ms response time that means u get far better colors and viewing angle with and it pretty fast too.....if u wanna cheap ips monitor than this is also a very good option..

but i don't believe in ebay....

I totally agree with you..but in my case i live in a small town where flipkart doesn't ship (but seller ws retail does)..90% of my current gaming rig was bought from snapdeal(just monitor from amazon.in)...i have never faced any issue ..even 90% sellers are same at both sides....so better go with cheaper one..

Both are good. But prefer razer because of it's anti ghosting...and i read somewhere that the letter on buttons is hard to see when you shut down blue led light on cooler master....and i also suggest that don't waste yor money on these fancy looking combos unless they are mechanical keyboard...just get this one
http://www.flipkart.com/search?q=logitech+g100s&as=off&as-show=off&otracker=start
I m using this combo without any problem...just save money here so you can buy some useful stuff like after market cpu cooler or a large capacity ssd...

Thanks everyone ... I think I'm gonna go with the following config (more or less) :

cpu - i5 4690k
gpu - gtx 970 (ASUS or ZOTAC)
mobo - either ASUS z97 A or msi z97 gaming 5 ... will depend on whichever I can find at lowest price
ram - 1 8GB kingston HyperX Fury (probably 1866MHz ... then again could also get 1600MHz)
psu - CM/Seasonic/Corsair 650W
cabinet - CM k281
ssd - samsung 120GB
display - still torn up between LG 24MP76HM and Dell ST2420L

and I would also need a UPS.

buy asus z97a
http://www.snapdeal.com/product/asus-z97a-motherboard/1621039886#bcrumbSearch:asus%20z97%20a
believe me go with ips panel i hav both tn an ips panel monitors and color difference is huge...
and buy apc ups dont go with any indian ups like iball because of compatibility with psu...
and don't go with cheaper corsair cx or vs and cm psus.. and you don't need extra 30 watt just go with 620 watt it is enough for ur build...
everything else is great..(You can get a better case because k281 cant handle water cooling...it is just one time investment and there will always room for upgrade in same case...for example i have cooler master 690 ii advanced and have build 3 built in this case....)
Go with 250 gb ssb ...

Hmmm, I decided to go with LG IPS finally, and yes I would have gone for APC anyway ... however I don't think I'll get a better case (otherwise it's going a bit above my budget)
