I am aiming to purchase components to put together a PC in the next 5 to 7 days. My starting point is...

I would like to reduce the cost but I also want to future proof the PC.

- I would like the option to water cool (may not pursue it but I want it, hence the case).
- I want to overclock.
- I MAY pursue SLI.
- 3 Monitors total for work, 1 when I game.

A few of the cases I was looking at are:

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/obsidian-series-750d-airflow-edition-full-tower-atx-case

I am unsure if the motherboard is the best option, but the Gaming 5 vs the Gamin 7 is only $40, seems worth it.

I think the graphics card may be overkill, I want to max out gaming for current games but I think the Ti may be more than I need. Advice?

You most likely won't need that big of a PSU, unless you intend to go more than 2-way SLI.
850 would probably be enough. Not that 1000 is overkill either. It's good if you want to be sure, but you did say you wanted to reduce the price.

The size of the cases isn't an issue, already measured and viewed in person just in case. I do appreciate the heads up on the size :)

I will adjust the power supply to 600-750 wish based on the recommendations.

Any thoughts on the motherboard?

If you intend to do SLI later you'll need more than 600W though.
I would personally just recommend getting a new GPU later down the line and selling the previous one. There are some slight problems with SLI, like not always getting good support for all games and the fact that having 2 GPUs doesn't mean you get twice the performance (more like 150%).
Unless money isn't a problem I wouldn't go that route.

As to the motherboard, it seems fine to me. You would probably be fine with a cheaper one, but you get what you pay for...
If don't intend to OC at all, I would get a cheaper one. If you do intend to OC... Might be worth it.
