Im trying to find my friend a pc for 500-600 $$ to game on hes a console gamer and he said if i can find him a pc build for that price range he would try to get into pc gaming not counting monitor, keyboard and mouse i have a few builds and just want more input from multiple sites and multiple people these are the builds.

Why are Seasonic fanboys so common. Seriously, why so many for Seasonic, as apposed to Corsair or something?

What makes you think brand has anything to do with quality? Because they’re all capable and all do make some crap.

When looking at power supplies, take away the brand name. In this instance with the S12ii and M12ii all we have is an ancient platform with crappy protections and group regulation. Similar to the EVGA B1s...

This makes their older S12II series a viable inexpensive choice

Unless you can find them for dirt cheap, they aren’t. The Corsair CX or CXM grey label which are normally found at the same price is an example of a PSU that is much better.

Never choose power supplies by brand, they all sell garbage or overpriced units.
