[SOLVED] Build Changes?

Hello! New here!
I'm getting a Digital Storm Lumos, but am having trouble with the build (linked below). Main use is gaming, with some streaming and very littlr animation mixed in. It's about $3,400 right now. Ideally i would like to get it down to $3,000. Aside from the cosmetics and the cooling system, which i dont want to part with for goofy reasons i'd rather not get into, are there any suggestions for tweaks you would make? I few things i'm wondering :
Would i be okay downgrading power supply from 850 to 600?
Should i downgrade from 3700x to 3600x?
Which motherboard would be best?
How much would i be losing going from a 2060 Super to a 2060?

$3400 for a 3600X and a 2060 Super? That's just ridiculous IMO. Do you REALLY have to keep those crazy overkill liquid cooling? Even prebuild companies like cyberpower offer a third of that with the same performance.

Ive had CyberPower PC's in the past and had nothing but problems.
Yes, unfortunately, my significant other REALLY wants that cooling system. She... thinks it's very pretty, lol. It's kind of our compromise. She didnt want us to get a new PC, but when she saw pics of the Lumos with that cooling system she fell in love with it. So now...
Also, i just remembered: i would get $300 off on this, so knock that much off of the total.
Although now im realizing that i apparently did an awful job at configuring this, and feel pretty dumb!
Edit: i checked other places like Main Gear, and a build like this was almost $1,000 more. Which made me assume that the price was not too unreasonable. Guess not! Plus had heard alot of good things about Digital Storm.

Short changing the cpu and gpu just for the pretty looking tubes inside will make it a nice looking pc. But you won't have much of a "pc" remaining, especially at that price.

If you want performance drop the water cooling that is not needed for a mid-level build. Don't skimp on the cpu and gpu.

In an ideal world... i have to appease someone else, as well. Which makes it tricky when that someone else wanted this explicitly because of those pretty tubes.

I thought that CPU and GPU were good, from everything ive read. What would you recommend instead?
Clearly, i have no idea what im doing. So any advice is much appreciated. Ive just had nothing but problems with prebuilt PC's, so wanted to go this route. Read as much as i could, but it's an overwhelming amount of info for a noob to digest...

If your mainly gaming at 1080p then the 3600 and 2060 Super would be fine. It's just the $3,000 price your paying is over the top with that build considering the performance. For &3k you can build an incredible gaming pc and a really nice top of the line 1440p monitor. The choice of the x570 Asus Strix is really over the top and not required. Drop this for a good $200 Asus or Gigabyte x570 board and use the money on the gpu.

So this is the reatil value of what they quoted minus the water cooling, basically.

CPU and GPU are good but not for that money. Basic system with those main components and with same performance wouldn't cost more than 1000 bucks.

Okay, i have another dumb question:
I'm obviously incapable of building anything PC-related (or, you know... anything-else related, either). Am i not kind of at the mercy of what parts the company offers, since i cant exactly order everything i want and just build it myself? Is there another option that im completely igorant of?
I'm suddenly very depressed about the whole thing, lol.

I now feel defeated, lol. I spent the past 2 or 3 weeks doing research and tweaking that build, only to find out that i did a very bad job.
Mayhaps i should just forget it, since i dont really know what im doing.
